NetNudge ("we," "us," "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
1. Information We Collect
Account Information
- Email address — used for account creation, login, and communications.
- Full name — used for personalization.
- Phone number — used for SMS-based two-factor authentication (2FA) via Twilio Verify. Your phone number is sent to Twilio for verification purposes.
- Password — stored as a one-way cryptographic hash. We cannot see your password.
Usage Data
- Conversations — messages you send to and receive from AI agents. Stored to provide persistent memory and improve the service.
- Goals and preferences — information you share during onboarding and conversations.
- Engagement metrics — session counts, message frequency, feature usage, streaks, and check-in data.
- Files you upload — documents, images, and other files you share with agents for analysis.
Technical Data
- Device and browser information — user agent, screen size, operating system.
- IP address — used for security and abuse prevention.
- Analytics events — page views, feature interactions, and performance metrics collected by our telemetry system.
2. How We Use Your Information

3. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with:
- Twilio — phone number for SMS verification (subject to Twilio's Privacy Policy).
- Amazon Web Services (AWS) — infrastructure hosting and email delivery via AWS SES.
- AI model providers — conversation content is sent to AI providers (e.g., Anthropic, OpenAI) to generate responses. These providers process data per their respective privacy policies.
- Law enforcement — if required by law, court order, or to protect the safety of our users.
4. Data Retention
- Account data — retained while your account is active. Deleted upon account deletion request.
- Conversations — retained to provide persistent memory. You can request deletion at any time.
- Analytics data — retained in aggregated form for up to 24 months.
- Engagement metrics — retained while your account is active.
5. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access your personal data — request a copy of the data we hold about you.
- Correct inaccurate data — update your name, email, or phone number.
- Delete your data — request account and data deletion.
- Export your data — receive your conversation history in a portable format.
- Opt out of marketing emails — unsubscribe link is included in every email.

6. Cookies and Tracking
NetNudge uses localStorage (not cookies) for authentication tokens and session management. Our telemetry system assigns a random device identifier stored in localStorage to track anonymous usage patterns. No third-party advertising cookies are used.
7. Security
- Passwords are hashed using industry-standard algorithms (bcrypt).
- All data in transit is encrypted via TLS/HTTPS.
- Two-factor authentication is mandatory for all accounts.
- Access to production systems is restricted to authorized personnel.
8. Children's Privacy
NetNudge is not intended for users under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
9. International Users
NetNudge is operated from the United States. If you are accessing the service from outside the US, your data will be transferred to and processed in the United States. By using NetNudge, you consent to this transfer.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or through the platform. The effective date at the top of this page indicates the latest revision.
